OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

To better showcase my own philosophy, I sought out to create a poster that revolves around a single quote that best represents it. I also limited myself by only working with 3 colors and including one image that showcases the end of something. Along side this design, I also sought to hang up 50 prints of the posters in locations that best represent the inevitable end, beginning, and current to help reinforce the idea behind the poster. Through this entire process, it forced me to work in limits

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

The inevitable is the end and that may be scary but accepting that fact is real way forward. One fact that makes it easier is the cycle of life - when one thing ends, another begins to takes its place.

Vibrant colors come in as the end doesn't have to be scary if you don't want it to be. This positive attitude is brought forth by the colors, primarily the yellow within the text.

Texture signifies our past and their future. When things wither, breaks come about. and when new things burst from the ground, they are never perfect either, and more than likely come with the damage of the previous generation. It also just looks hella cool.
